2017 Art & Street Painting Festival Applications Available

From the City of Temecula: The City of Temecula will be hosting the annual Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival on June 9, 10, and 11, 2017 located in Old Town Temecula. Chalk Artist and Art Exhibitor applications are now available online to download at http://temeculaca.gov/artfest. Application and fee deadline is May 1, 2017. Notifications of accepted applications will be on or before May 8, 2017. All artwork must be appropriate for family and public viewing.

Now, in its 17th year the Old Town Temecula Street Painting Festival will present an extravaganza with giant, detailed, and colorful chalk murals on the streets of Old Town Temecula. Artists of all mediums are invited to participate in the Temecula Art Festival are invited to take part in this event.

The three-day event will feature chalk mural artists creating an asphalt gallery of chalk art masterpieces some as large as 12-feet by 12-feet. Each year the Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival draws thousands of visitors to Old Town Temecula to this juried art show featuring fine artists, ceramicists, jewelry designers, and photographers showing and selling their work in festival tents lining Town Square Park, Main Street, and the Civic Center quad.
