5 Drivers Arrested During Old Town Temecula DUI Checkpoint

TEMECULA, CA — Five drivers were arrested during a DUI checkpoint in Old Town Temecula, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced over the weekend.
The checkpoint was conducted between 7 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Old Town Front Street and Moreno Road, sheriff's officials said.
Deputies screened 423 cars and a total of five drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, the agency said.

Funding for the checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
