CHP Seeks Driver In Fatal I-15 Hit-And-Run
The driver struck a man on northbound Interstate 15 in Bonsall and did not stop. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a Mazda.

BONSALL, CA — The California Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run early Tuesday morning on northbound Interstate 15, in the Bonsall area, south of Temecula.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:35 a.m., south of Old Highway 395. A man on foot was hit by a vehicle, "possibly a Mazda," the CHP said.
The driver did not stop, and the pedestrian died.

"Based on preliminary findings, investigators believe the suspect vehicle may be a Mazda with left front-end and/or undercarriage damage," the CHP said.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information regarding the suspect vehicle is urged to contact the CHP Oceanside Area Office at 760-643-3400.
