Great Egret Strolls Around Temecula Back Yard: Photo Of The Day

TEMECULA, CA — Patti Egan was thrilled when this beautiful bird stopped by her Temecula home for a short visit.

The great egret flew into her yard in Paseo del Sol around 2 p.m. March 17.

"He strolled around the yard for a few minutes then hopped the fence into the neighbor's yard," Patti told Patch. "Love that we never know who will visit us next!"
