Homeownership Barriers For Temecula's Youth Under Review At City Hall

Can Temecula youth afford to live in their city when they are ready to buy? A City Council workshop is scheduled to discuss the barriers.

TEMECULA, CA — Will Temecula youth be able to buy a future home in their city? What are the barriers facing them?

Those are questions expected to be addressed during a Sept. 5 joint workshop with Temecula City Council and the city's Race, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) Commission.

During the 6 p.m. workshop at City Hall, 41000 Main Street, the REDI Commission will present its research on the topic — future homeownership opportunities for Temecula's youth — and make recommendations to the City Council.
