Meet Temecula Police Officers At 'Coffee With A Cop' Oct. 2

Residents are invited to sip and share concerns with local law enforcement officers.

TEMECULA, CA — Residents of Temecula and surrounding communities will have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee and meet with local law enforcement officers on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The event will run from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at Starbucks at 41195 Winchester Rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP is participating in National Coffee with a Cop day, which lends community members the opportunity to engage with law enforcement in a relaxed albeit caffeinated environment.

"No speeches, no agendas—just coffee and conversation," according to CHP.

Attendees will be able to ask questions, share concerns, share concerns and get to know the officers who patrol their neighborhoods.

Coffee with a Cop has been running since 2016.

"We look forward to Coffee with a Cop each time we get the opportunity. It
allows us to connect with our community members and discuss important issues they may have," said CHP Temecula Area Commander Jason Penner. These conversations help build stronger relationships, which are critical to enhancing safety and trust within our communities."
