Interfaith Council of Murrieta & Temecula Valley seeks nominations from top organization, business or faith-based organizations.
MURRIETA, CA —The Interfaith Council of Murrieta and Temecula Valley is seeking nominations from varying volunteer categories for its second annual Humanitarian Award. Nominees may be an individual of any age, youth group, not-for-profit organization, business, faith-based organization, or governmental entity, organizers said.
"Individuals must live or work in the local area," according to the Humanitarian Award organizers. "Online service providers, as well as brick and mortar service providers, are welcome to apply. National service programs are not considered unless there is strong local participation."
The award's objective is to honor an individual or organization that exemplifies Interfaith Council objectives, especially cooperation, equity, unity, respect, compassion,
dignity, human rights and justice, officials said.
