Suspect in Local Bank Robbery Sought

Police have released surveillance photos of a man suspected of robbing a local bank Wednesday.

The alleged robbery was reported at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday at Bank of America at 26800 Cherry Hills Blvd. in Menifee, according to Sgt. Ryan Hoxmeier with the Menifee Police Department.

"He approached a teller and demanded money. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money...," Hoxmeier stated in a news release issued Thursday.

The suspect was described as a white male adult in his mid-30s. He was wearing blue jeans, a yellow and black jacket and a black and white striped wool hat.

He drove away from the bank in an early 2000 model crew cab, black Ford F-150 pick-up truck, the sergeant said.
