TEMECULA, CA — The California Highway Patrol's Temecula Area office announced it will hold a DUI checkpoint Friday in unincorporated Southwest Riverside County.

The operation will take place Friday. The agency did not release exact times or a location.

"Motorists approaching the checkpoint will see informational signs advising them that a sobriety
checkpoint is ahead. Once diverted into the lane, motorists will be detained only a few moments
while an officer explains the purpose of the checkpoint and checks their driver's license," according to the CHP.
