TEMECULA, CA — A Temecula realtor who went missing earlier this week, prompting a law enforcement search and an outpouring of community support, has been found safe, his girlfriend and police report.

Richard Tyrrell was first reported missing after a trip to Pechanga Resort Casino on Sunday night. After speaking with his girlfriend and business partner early Monday morning, he fell off the radar, prompting her to get concerned and file a missing persons report, she said.

As of Friday afternoon, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department says Tyrrell has been found and is safe. No foul play is suspected in his days-long absence.

"We thank you all for your love, support, & care," Marcy English Sattelmaier posted on Facebook on Friday. "He needs some time to decompress & recover so we appreciate some private time."

Pechanga officials said they were grateful, as well.

“We share in the community’s relief to hear of Rich Tyrell’s safe return," the resort said in an emailed statement. "We know the past few days were unnerving for his family and friends. We were glad to assist law enforcement from the outset, and we are grateful to the Riverside Sheriff’s Office and everyone who contributed to the search."
