Temecula Stampede Parking Lot In Old Town To Close For 6 Months

TEMECULA, CA — Parking in Old Town Temecula is expected to get tighter — temporarily — starting in mid-August.

The large Temecula Stampede parking lot at the south end of Old Town will be fully closed for six months due to construction work, the city announced.

The closure is needed to improve the lot, including reconfiguration and the addition of new parking spaces, pavement, asphalt, and lights, according to the city.

Signs will be posted before the shutdown. The ADA parking stalls on the lot's south end are expected to remain open.

Alternative parking will be available in the dirt lot across the street on the corner of Old Town Front and First streets (see map below).
