Temecula Unveils 2025 Holiday Events: Parade, Tree-Lighting, Santa, And More
All the city events are free to attend and/or participate in.

TEMECULA, CA — With the holidays approaching, the city of Temecula announced on Tuesday that it has festive, family-friendly events planned in the weeks ahead — all free to attend and/or participate in. Here's what is on the schedule:
Holiday Home Decorating Display
Share your holiday spirit with the community by adding your house to Temecula’s Holiday Home Decorating Map. The deadline to enter is Dec. 7. A map of all homes will be published online for the community beginning the week of Dec. 8. Apply online here.

Santa’s Arrival
Santa will arrive at Pennypickle’s Workshop in Old Town (42081 Main Street) at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, and he will hang out until 9 p.m. that night. He'll be available for visitors again at the same location on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. He'll stick around through Dec. 21.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Enjoy live entertainment, holiday treats, a visit from Santa Claus, and a tree-lighting ceremony from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Temecula Duck Pond (28250 Ynez Road).
Santa’s Electric Light Parade
Temecula's annual Santa’s Electric Light Parade attracts thousands to Old Town every year. The 2025 event kicks off at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. The parade begins at Jefferson Avenue and Del Rio Road, then travels south into Old Town. Bring chairs and blankets! For route details and entry information, visit TemeculaCA.gov/SantaParade.
Holiday Bike Ride
Bike Temecula Valley, in partnership with the city, is hosting the Holiday Bike Ride, a family-friendly event designed for riders of all ages and skill levels. The ride begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 (meetup is at 6:30 p.m.) at Harveston Community Park. The ride will go through the Harveston neighborhood. Pre-registration encouraged online at TemeculaCA.gov/Register.
New Year’s Eve Grape Drop
Ring in the New Year at Temecula’s signature Grape Drop at the Civic Center Quad (41000 Main Street) on Wednesday, Dec. 31. The event includes live music, food vendors, and activities for all ages. The fun begins at 6 p.m. The East Coast countdown is at 9 p.m. (local time) and features an animated grape drone show that will light up the night sky. The event ends at 10 p.m.
