Temecula Valley Residents Invited To 'National Night Out'

The free event hosted by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 1.

TEMECULA, CA — The Riverside County Sheriff's Department invites the community to the upcoming 2023 National Night Out, which promises an evening where neighbors and Southwest Sheriff's Station deputies get together under positive circumstances.

The free event hosted by the department takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 1 at Temecula City Hall Civic Center, 41000 Main Street.

Started by the National Association of Town Watch in 1984, National Night Out events take place throughout the country and are family-centered. The events aim to elevate crime prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and forge closer police-community relationships.
