Tornado Fire Near Temecula Still Burning
The fire that erupted Friday afternoon is 85 percent contained.
TEMECULA, CA -- A fire that erupted outside of Temecula last week was 85 percent contained Sunday morning. Fire officials said the Tornado Fire burned roughly 70 acres after it erupted at 2:48 p.m. Friday on Via Santa Rosa.
More than 70 firefighters, one helicopter and seven engines were called to battle the blaze.
No injuries or evacuations were reported.
