VIDEO: Plane Forced to Make Emergency Landing at French Valley Airport
The incident, involving a twin engine Cessna 310, occurred at about noon Sunday at French Valley Airport near Murrieta. The pilot was uninjured, authorities told a Patch reporter who was on scene.

The pilot of a twin engine Cessna 310 was forced to make an emergency "belly" landing Sunday at French Valley Airport near Murrieta due to malfunctioning landing gear.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to find the pilot uninjured, according to this video shot by Patch freelancer Joe Fanaselle.
The airport was shut down for about 45 minutes following the incident that happened at around noon Sunday, Fanaselle said.
