• Ventura County man charged for threatening to kill parents, deputies and bomb hoax (cbsnews.com) — Ventura County authorities say a man has been charged after allegedly threatening to kill his parents and deputies and calling in a bomb threat to an open Thousand Oaks business, forcing patrons to shelter in place. Deputies secured the business, coordinated with Los Angeles County counterparts, and later arrested the suspect in Agoura Hills before booking him into Ventura County jail.
