• Officials urge public comments to block predator placement in Turlock (fox40.com) — Turlock residents are being urged to speak up by Dec. 19 as officials try to block the state-approved release of a sexually violent predator to a home on North Central Avenue. Local law enforcement, prosecutors, and a nearby school district leader say the proposed location is too close to children and a bar, and they’re asking neighbors to submit comments before a judge rules.
