Armed Robbery at Food Maxx
Two men robbed the 24-hour supermarket early Friday morning.

Two men held up a Food Maxx cashier at gunpoint early Friday morning, police said.
The suspects entered the 24-hour supermarket, located on Industrial Parkway on the Union City/Hayward border, at about 4 a.m. and purchased a bag of chips.
When the cashier opened the register, one of the men pulled out a small revolver while the other demanded cash, said Sgt. Tom Gorrie of the Union City Police Department.

Both men are described as black males in their early 20s. One of the suspects had a larger build and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt. The other suspect was described as a having a smaller build and wearing a white jacket.
