UNION CITY, CA — Bakery chain Nothing Bundt Cakes is celebrating its 25th birthday in a sweet way with a cake giveaway at all locations across the country, with the closest location at the Fremont Hub in Fremont.

On Thursday, the first 250 guests to walk into the bakery will receive a free Confetti Bundtlet, the brand's packaged miniature bundt cakes.

In addition, the bakery chain is holding an online contest where one resident will win a $25,000 birthday party planned by a celebrity planning company, a Nothing Bundt Cakes news release said.

Residents can enter the contest by submitting a photo of their favorite birthday memory from Thursday through Sept. 25. The photo must include a written description, describing what they enjoyed about that memory and what winning the party would mean to them.

"At Nothing Bundt Cakes, bringing joy is at the heart of everything we do," Nothing Bundt Cakes Chief Marketing Officer Angie Eckelkamp said in a news release. "Our bakery-wide 25th birthday Confetti Bundtlet giveaway and $25,000 party contest is our way of thanking our guests for letting us be a part of their joyous moments over the years."
