New Youth Sports Training Program Launches
Coach Bobby Noriega's four-week Precision Athletics program begins today for youth in grades 2 to 8

Local sports and fitness coach Bobby Noriega wants to help your kids become “explosive” on the field, court or track.
Noriega’s new four-week Precision Athletics training program begins Wednesday, Nov. 16. The one-hour sessions will be held at the gym every Wednesday, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. for youth in grades 2-5 and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for youth in grades 6-8, through Dec. 14 (no sessions on Nov. 23, due to Thanksgiving break). The cost is $40 for all four sessions, or $15 for drop-ins.
“These training sessions are designed for all athletes, regardless of sport, to further develop their game with a focus on flexibility, strength and conditioning to promote speed and explosiveness,” Noriega wrote in a press release.

The sessions will include a variety of exercises to help build cardio strength, speed, agility and core strength. Noriega says that by focusing on those elements, athletes will have the proper endurance to last in long games, the speed to blow by opponents and the agility to swiftly maneuver around them.
The most critical physical trait for athletes is having a solid core, Noriega said.

“The core regulates balance and overall strength,” he said. “With a naturally strong and developed core, an athlete will be able to control everything from the changing of speed to jumping.”
Noriega’s Precision Athletics program is limited to 20 students max per session. To register for classes, or to request more information, contact Noriega at PrecisePrecision@yahoo.com.
