Union City Police Investigate Gold Chain Robberies
Police say the chains were snatched off of the victims' necks.

Union City, CA— Police in Union City are investigating two recent robberies in which the suspects snatched gold chains off the victims' necks.
Officers responded on June 20 around 10 p.m. to the area of 11th Street on a report of an armed robbery. Police said five suspects approached two victims, and two of the suspects brandished handguns and snatched gold chains from the victims' necks.
The second robbery occurred on June 21 around 7 p.m. in the area of Cabello Street and Allison Drive.
The victim said an unidentified suspect grabbed a gold necklace from her neck and then fled in a waiting vehicle.
