Union City Stabbing Victim Left In 'Critical, But Stable Condition'

An attempted murder investigation into the Sunday, Nov. 12 stabbing continues as police ask witnesses to come forward.

UNION CITY, CA — Police in Union City are investigating a Sunday, Nov. 12, stabbing that left one person in critical, but stable condition, UCPD said in a news release Monday, Nov. 13.

According to the news release, Union City police officers responded to the area of Pacific Street and Central Avenue to investigate the report of a stabbing and when officers arrived on scene, they located a victim who had been stabbed multiple times.

"The victim was transported to a local hospital and listed to be in critical, but stable condition," UCPD said.

Police are still searching for the suspect in the attempted murder case, but UCPD said there was no active threat to the community.
