Lockdown Lifts At Venice High School After Weapon Reported On Campus
Venice High School was under lockdown Friday morning following reports of a weapon on campus.
VENICE, CA — Venice High School was under lockdown Friday morning after reports of a weapon on campus, officials said.
The lockdown was lifted about 10:30 a.m. Friday, a student told Patch.
Police were called to the campus at 13000 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, at about 10 a.m. to conduct the search, KTLA reports.

No weapons were found.
On Thursday, a suspect was taken into custody after pointing a so-called "airsoft" gun at Beverly Hills High School and posting a picture on social media, causing students and staff to shelter in place, police said.
