Man Found Dead At Venice Beach

VENICE, CA — A man was found dead early Thursday near the Venice boardwalk, police said.

Officers were sent to Ocean Front Walk and Brooks Avenue about 6:25 a.m. Thursday, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, who appeared to have been about 20-30 years old, police said.

There was no immediate indication of foul play in the death, police said. An autopsy was pending to determine the man's cause of death.

The body was found near the bathrooms and the death could be drug-related, Westside Current reports.
