
Firefighters are en route to Brooks and Pacific avenues in Venice to assist in cleaning up a quantity of oil, possibly vegetable oil, that has spilled onto a street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Sgt. Brian Humphrey stated that the City of L.A. Bureau of Street Services is also enroute to mitigate the hazard. He stated that the oil has not entered the stormwater drain and there are no injuries.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:21 a.m.
