One Killed On Venice Boulevard On-Ramp To The 405 Freeway
One person was killed early Monday when a car went over an embankment at the Venice Boulevard exit on the 405 Freeway.
VENICE, CA —One person was killed Monday when a car crashed over an embankment at an onramp to the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles.
The crash was reported at 4:52 a.m. at the Venice Boulevard onramp, said California Highway Patrol Officer Peter Nicholson.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person.

All southbound freeway lanes were stopped for a few minutes, and a SigAlert was then issued blocking the onramp for the investigation. The ramp was reopened about 11 a.m., the CHP reported.
