Staff Sgt. Takes Home Bodybuilding Title at Venice Beach

On May 27 Staff Sgt. Joshua Suttle, 412th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, took first place in the Armed Forces Middle Weight division at the Muscle Beach International Classic and Armed Forces Championship at Venice Beach.

A member of the Blue Eagles Honor Guard and an F-35 maintainer, Suttle said on winning, “I have been training for about six years but this was my first competition…I like that bodybuilding is one of the few things in life where the result is a direct reflection of the hard work you put into it.”
