Venice Chamber Of Commerce: SoCalGas Among First Utilities In The Nation To Transition Its Over-The-Road Fleet With Hydrogen Fuel

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) today announced that it took delivery of 23 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (HFCEV), marking the company’s first purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles. They plan to expand our fleet of HFCEVs to 50 next month.

With the purchase of these HFCEVs, about a third of our fleet will be running on clean fuels. We are on our way to meeting our 50% by 2025 goal.
