The first-ever pride parade is coming to the boardwalk, one of several events taking place at the Venice Pride Festival weekend.

VENICE, CA — Venice is about to get loud and proud.
The Venice Pride Festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, bringing music, food, parties and pride to Venice Beach.
"This year we're expanding the celebration to the Venice Beach Recreation Center to bring you the best that L.A. has to offer when it comes to food, live entertainment, and fun activities for anyone ages 1 to 100," organizers said.
