Fall / Holiday Concert

Repertoire: Featuring excerpts from Camille Saint-Saëns’ beloved Christmas Oratorio and Rosephanye Powell’s holiday suite Christmas Give, this program promises a festive blend of choral masterworks and carol arrangements spanning the medieval, Romantic and modern eras.

Repertoire: Celebrating the rich musical traditions of Shape-Note hymns, African-American Spirituals, and German Reformation music, this program explores how communal singing fosters deep cultural bonds while challenging social and political norms. Featuring uplifting works by J. S. Bach, Roland M. Carter, William L. Dawson, Alice Parker, Florence Price, and Undine Smith Moore (final repertoire to be confirmed).
