Don't Miss Gala In The Grove Benefiting Cancer Support Community

​Cancer Support Community is thrilled to announce tickets are now on sale for the upcoming Gala in the Grove!

Cancer Support Community San Francisco Bay Area (CSC) is thrilled to announce tickets are now on sale for the upcoming Gala in the Grove on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Cal Shakes, 100 California Shakespeare Theater Way, Orinda, CA 94563. Tickets are $250 per person and can be purchased at cancersupport.net/event/annual-gala/. This signature event aims to raise funds to support cancer patients and their families with access to critical support programs including counseling, support groups, exercise, nutrition, educational workshops, and more.

The event will feature guest speaker Emily Chuah, a breast cancer patient who is part of the Young Adults and Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer Support Groups at CSC. All proceeds from this event support CSC’s vital programs for cancer patients and their loved ones in the Bay Area offered at no cost. This 24th annual gala agenda includes a hosted cocktail reception, food stations, silent and live auctions, an inspiring program, and more.

“This gala is an incredible opportunity to come together and directly support the vital services that make a difference for cancer patients and their families here in our community,” said Donald Duggan, CSC Board President.

CSC uplifts and strengthens people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care. 88% of patients said the CSC programs improved their quality of life and 83% gained useful information to better manage their treatment.
