Free Concert This Evening In Walnut Creek
The 14-piece ensemble Foreverland will perform a tribute to Michael Jackson.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Are you ready to kick off the weekend a day early? The free Broadway Plaza Summer Concert Series is back, kicking off this evening at 6 p.m. with DJ music, followed by Foreverland: The Electrifying Tribute to Michael Jackson.
The 14-piece ensemble includes musicians, singers, and dancers. "Foreverland simply aims to honor and do justice to the music and spirit of the King of Pop," Broadway Plaza says on its website.
"Foreverland’s four dynamic vocalists, powerhouse rhythm section, and slamming horn section recreate hits like 'I Want You Back,' 'Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough,' 'Smooth Criminal,' and 'Thriller' from the Jackson 5 era through the end of Michael’s incredible career with energy, groove, and force."

The Foreverland show starts at 7 p.m.
The event will be held in Broadway Plaza Street, the street running through Broadway Plaza. The stage will be near Nordstrom.

Bringing your own chairs is encouraged. Drinks will be sold at the concert, plus you can get food at a number of our surrounding eateries and restaurants.

The Summer Concert Series is part of Arts Around August, a month-long celebration in Downtown Walnut Creek of the performing, visual, cultural and culinary arts.
