WALNUT CREEK, CA — Would a free live performance bright up your week? The free Broadway Plaza Summer Concert Series continues Thursday evening at 6 p.m. with DJ music, followed by The Briefcase Blues Brothers Revue at 7.

"The Briefcase Blues Brothers Revue is a funny, fun, interactive revue that leaves audiences with a smile on their face and love in their hearts."

Michael St. John “Jake’ and Marten Benatar “Elwood” have established themselves in the entertainment industry with over 30 years of combined music and performance experience and are one of the top Blues Brothers Revues around.

They have surrounded themselves with an all-star blues band of family and friends that are some of the top musicians and entertainers in the industry.

The event will be held in Broadway Plaza Street, the street running through Broadway Plaza. The stage will be near Nordstrom.

Bringing your own chairs is encouraged. Drinks will be sold at the concert, plus you can get food at a number of surrounding eateries and restaurants.
