A Full Line-Up In Store For Walnut Creek Diwali Celebration
A two-day line up at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek planned for Diwali celebrations.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek will hold a two-day Diwali celebration this weekend.
Stand-up comedian Hari Kondabolu will headline the celebrations at 7:30 p.m. Friday, followed by a free live drone light show around 9 p.m.
On Saturday, the celebrations will continue with a free street fair between noon and 4 p.m., featuring local businesses like Kinara Couture, Koolfi Creamery, MAUJH, Ohana Earth, The Saloni Collection, Studio Chai SF, and Talking Thyme.

The fair will also host performances by emcee and storyteller Roopa Mohan, Desi Offbeats, India Club of Rossmoor, Kalanjali Dances of India, Leela Youth Dance Company, and Tejasvi Natyalaya. Mandala-making art workshops will also be held at the Bedford Gallery at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday.
The events will take place at the Lesher Center for the Arts, located at 1601 Civic Drive in Walnut Creek.
