Natural Beauty In Walnut Creek: Photos Of The Day

Two beautiful flowers — one white and one red — plus a butterfly.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Patch reader Kiva was in downtown Walnut Creek when she caught these lovely glimpses of nature.

The first appears to be a woodland skipper butterfly feeding on a white voss — or daisy — flower.

The second appears to be a Chinese lantern flower. (Any botanists out there to confirm?)
