Robbery Suspects Accused Of Pistol-Whipping Victim In Walnut Creek: PD
Two arrests were made and a third suspect was outstanding in the recent robbery of two people in downtown Walnut Creek.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek police made two arrests in connection with a recent downtown robbery.
Dispatchers with the Walnut Creek Police Department received a 911 call shortly after 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 about the robbery, which happened in the 1500 block of Bonanza Street.
Officers found two victims who said they were approached by three male suspects wearing masks and dressed in all black, Walnut Creek police Lt. Bruce Jower said. One of the suspects had a dark-colored handgun.

"The suspects stole the victim's wallet, pistol-whipped and stole the bag of the other victim, and fled the scene in a white Lexus," Jower said.
The victim who was assaulted with the gun suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, the lieutenant said.

Walnut Creek police detectives worked with the Oakland Police Department to locate the white Lexus in Oakland. Detectives arrested Elias Alcorn and Daymonee Johnson and recovered the stolen property from the robbery.
Alcorn and Johnson were booked into the Contra Costa County jail in Martinez on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime. Their bail was set at $250,000.
Jail records indicated Alcorn and Johnson were no longer in custody as of Wednesday morning.
A third suspect remained at large.
