Telling Horror Stories On A Date At The Library... Quickly!
The downtown library will host a speed dating event with a Halloween theme
Speed dating is sometimes considered a horror story. Now it's official.
The folks at the Walnut Creek Library are hosting a horror edition of speed dating just in time for Halloween.
The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, at the library, 1644 N. Broadway.
Single people in their 20s, 30s and 40s will spend 5 minutes with each other before rotating to the next person. Just like regular speed dating.
However, in this Halloween edition, the daters will tell each other a condensed version of their favorite horror story. It could be from a book, a movie or an actual date.
Contact information won't be given out at the event. Potential dates will be contacted sometime during that week.
