Truck Crashes After Losing Tire On Contra Costa Highway

WALNUT CREEK, CA -- A tow truck reportedly crashed Sunday on a Contra Costa County highway. The incident was reported at 12:04 p.m. on eastbound state Route 24 near Pleasant Hill Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP incident log said the truck lost its tire then drove into some trees.

An ambulance was called to the scene as the crash blocked a lane.
