Walnut Creek Students Head Back To School: Important Dates

WALNUT CREEK, CA—Summer is almost over for Walnut Creek students. The first day of school in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District is Thursday, Aug. 8, and in the Walnut Creek School District, it is Wednesday, Aug. 14. The Acalanes Union High School District returns Tuesday, Aug. 13.

• First Day: Thursday, Aug. 8
• Labor Day: Sept. 2
• Fall Recess: Oct. 7-11
• Thanksgiving Recess: Nov. 25-29
• Winter Recess: Dec. 23-Jan. 3
• Spring Recess: April 7-14
• Last Day: Tuesday, June 3
