3 Arrested On Suspicion Of Drug, Firearms Offenses
Detectives said they found a stolen, loaded .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun and methamphetamine inside a car.

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — A month-long Monterey County sheriff's investigation ended Wednesday with the arrest of three people. According to the Monterey County Sheriff's Office, detectives on Wednesday pulled over a vehicle in the Pine Canyon area of King City. Detectives found a stolen, loaded .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun and methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
Suspected gang members Andrew Gregory, 28, and Julio Meraz, 31, were arrested on suspicion of numerous gun and drug offenses. Sheriff's deputies then conducted a related probation search on 43-year-old Michelle Irvine at a residence in the 50800 block of Pine Canyon Road in King City.
According to the sheriff's office, the search resulted in the seizure of a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun, methamphetamine and marijuana that were accessible to an infant and an 8-year-old child living at the home. Investigators also found thousands of rounds of ammunition.

The people living at the home are convicted felons. They were arrested on suspicion of numerous drug, firearm and child endangerment offenses, sheriff's officials said.
