Annual Cesar E. Chavez Community Awards Approaching

The event is on March 23 at 6-8 pm. Seven community members will be recognized their dedicated community work and activism.

From the City of Watsonville Parks, Community Services: The City of Watsonville Parks and Community Services Department will host the 15th Annual Cesar E. Chavez Community Awards on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Plaza Community Room, 275 Main Street, Fourth Floor.

Seven (7) local community members will be recognized for their dedicated community work and activism that exemplifies and promotes the values espoused by Cesar E. Chavez. The event will include a welcome by City of Watsonville Mayor Oscar Rios, a keynote address given by Digital NEST founder Jacob Martinez and the award recognition.
