BREAKING: Drivers are asked to use caution in the area.

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — The Monterey County Resource Management Agency Division of Public Works is launching a vegetation removal project this month to reduce wild fire risk. The project, made possible by a grant provided by CalFire, will occur on select roads in the county.
Crews will be working on San Juan Grade Road on Monday to Thursday, on Crazy Horse Canyon Road on May 26 to June 1 and on Old Stage Road on May 19 to May 25. There will be slow-moving vehicles on the road during the operation, according to resource management officials.
