Snow Day and Holiday Tree Lighting

Snow Day will be 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the corner of Peck and Union Streets adjacent to the City Plaza. The admission fee to the snow is a donation of one can of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

After playing in the snow, everyone is invited to gather at the City Plaza at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the lighting of a 30-foot tall live holiday tree donated by a member of the community. After the holiday season is over, the tree will be planted in a City park. The lighting ceremony will feature a youth choir and a visit from Santa Claus.
