At Least One Dead In Monterey Co. Crash Near Elementary School
BREAKING: The crash did not have any effect on the students at the school, a school official said.
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — At least one person died when a vehicle crashed into a tree in the Big Sur area of unincorporated Monterey County this afternoon, according to a dispatcher for the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 3:25 p.m. at mile-marker 50 on state Highway 1, near the Captain Cooper Elementary School.
The crash did not have any effect on the students at the school, a school official said. No additional information was immediately available.
