Man In Wheelchair Dies In Watsonville Crash With Truck
Police said the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated. Police are looking for anyone who witnessed the collision.
WATSONVILLE, CA — A man in a wheelchair died in a collision with a pickup truck early Friday morning in Watsonville, police said. At 5:26 a.m. officers went to Main Street and Lake Avenue after someone called to say an injury collision occurred.
Police said a man in a wheelchair was struck while he was crossing the street and died before he could be taken to a hospital. Police said the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
