See Abandoned Shopping Carts In Watsonville?

WATSONVILLE, CA — The City of Watsonville is asking residents who spot abandoned shopping carts to notify officials.

People can call the phone number on the cart of the city's customer service team at 831-768-3133.

Shopping carts can pose a hazard to pedestrians, bikers and drivers, the city said. The unsightly items can also increase pollution on streets and in the wetlands.

"Please keep in mind that City staff are only responsible for carts abandoned in trails, wetlands, and inaccessible areas, such as alleyways," the city said.
