Shots Flatten Tire; Suspects at Large

Police are looking for multiple people involved in a shooting on Wednesday afternoon.

On Feb. 6 at approximately 1:46 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Rodriguez Street regarding shots being fired in the area.

When officers arrived they were not able to locate any victims that may have been shot. However they did locate a beige colored Suburban type vehicle with a flat tire. After inspecting the vehicle it was determined that the tire had a bullet hole causing it to flatten.

After canvassing the area for evidence and witnesses, it appeared that an altercation between two sets of groups had ensued. One suspect was seen firing a handgun at the other group. He was described as Hispanic male in his 20swearing a white T-shirt and shorts. The gun was described as a black colored semi-automatic hand gun.

Another subject involved was described as a Hispanic male, 18-20-years-old wearing a tan shirt and shorts. All other subjects involved fled the area.

At the time of this press release, no victims have been located who may have been a victim of a shooting as aresult of the incident.

Investigative leads are actively being pursued. Help with the investigation is being requested from the public from anyone who may have seen or heard anything regarding the incident.
