Small Earthquake Felt In The Bay Area Friday Morning
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that the earthquake has a preliminary magnitude of 3.0.
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, CA — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude reading of 3.0 was felt in the Bay Area.
The epicenter was San Juan Bautista, according to the United States Geological Survey, and shook at 7:14 a.m.
Within a half hour of the temblor, residents of San Juan Bautista, Salinas, Aromas, Gilroy, Watsonville, Aptos, San Jose, Palo Alto and San Francisco had reported feeling the jolt.
No information has been received about injuries or damage from the minor quake.
