Teen Arrested In Watsonville For Carrying Loaded Gun

The teen and one man were arrested Saturday.

WATSONVILLE, CA -- A teenager was arrested Saturday in Watsonville when he was found with a loaded revolver, according to the Police Department. The 14-year-old suspect was apparently in a car with three other occupants when two officers pulled them over, police said.

After the car came to a stop, the suspect ran out of the car and dropped the loaded revolver. He was soon caught and arrested.

A second occupant in the car, 24-year-old Albert Mendoza, was arrested for violating his gang probation terms, police said.
