Watsonville 7-Eleven Robbery Under Investigation

WATSONVILLE, CA — Police in Watsonville are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday morning at a 7-Eleven. Officers with the Watsonville Police Department responded a 1:32 a.m. to the 7-Eleven at 1455 Freedom Blvd. on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Employees at the store told police three suspects entered the store and selected multiple cases of beer.
One of the suspects then brandished a black revolver and demanded money from the cash register, police said. The suspects fled the store with the beer and an undisclosed amount of cash.
They were last seen running through the store parking lot toward Crestview Drive. There were no reported injuries in the robbery.
